The Mediterranean estate sits on oceanfront property at 263 Ocean Blvd., and has deeded beach access. Taxes in 2010 were $54,127, reflecting a homestead exemption. Previous owners Kenneth and Rhoda Israel listed the home with Sue Honowitz for $8 million at the time of sale. The selling agent was Angela Troubatchov. Carroll Petrie, widower of retailer and philanthropist Milton J. Petrie, has recently sold her Palm Beach home for $6,819,615, or $1,110 per square foot. Built in 1953, the estate has 6,146 square feet of living area. It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half bathroom. Located at 109 Jungle Rd., the home features marble, carpet, and ceramic floors, two wood-burning fireplaces and a skylight. Located two houses from the beach, it includes a pool and gardens. Taxes in 2010 were $90,379, not reflecting a homestead exemption. The home was listed with Gary Small for $9.6 million at the time of sale, but was put on the market in April 2010 for $10.6 million.
