Fired Up said it intends to continue manufacturing at Aurora’s existing site in Green Lea Mills in Huddersfield. It also claimed the acquisition would strengthen its offering to the UK fires and Fireplaces industry and contributed towards its acquisitive growth strategy. Fired Up chief executive Richard Kaye said: "Under our management Aurora will continue to produce the same great products it always has but in a more efficient and sustainable manner, securing and growing Yorkshire manufacturing jobs."
